Lake International’s recent rebranding has been met with positive reception from customers and industry partners across Africa’s food and beverage sector. The transition has unified three trusted divisions—Lake Foods, Infigro, and Southern Canned Products—under one recognizable name, making it easier for customers to access the full range of solutions they need.
The streamlined brand reflects a commitment to stronger partnerships and faster service delivery. Managing Director Roger Falck highlighted that the new structure empowers the company to be more responsive to customer needs and invest more directly in the innovations that matter most to food and beverage manufacturers across the continent. All 150 team members, facilities, and long-standing customer relationships have seamlessly transitioned to Lake International, ensuring the same trusted expertise customers have relied on for years.
With a presence spanning nearly 20 countries, Lake International serves over 1,200 customers in the beverage, dairy, health, nutrition, meat, bakery, and wine industries. The company’s comprehensive portfolio—from bacterial cultures and enzymes to natural colors, stabilizers, and marinades—provides manufacturers with reliable ingredients and processing aids that help bring quality products to African consumers.
As 2026 unfolds, Lake International is expanding its focus on nutrition, fortified beverages, and health-focused solutions, particularly across sub-Saharan and West African markets. This growth strategy addresses the increasing demand for products that support health and wellness throughout the region. The company’s independent ownership structure, backed by Cape Town-based private equity firm Sana Partners, enables faster investment in customer-focused capabilities and regional expansion that directly benefits manufacturing partners across Africa.
