Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) has secured Top Employer certification in Africa for 2026 from the Top Employers Institute, marking its second consecutive year of regional-level recognition.
The certification extends to seven countries within CCBA’s operational footprint: Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda. Four of these countries—Ethiopia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda—retained their certification from 2025 with improved performance scores, while Botswana, Kenya, and Mozambique achieved certification for the first time.
The Top Employers Institute, which operates certification programs in 125 countries and regions, evaluates organizations through its HR Best Practices Survey. The assessment examines six core domains: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing. Organizations must meet rigorous benchmarks across these categories to qualify for certification at either country or regional levels.
Natasa Prodanovic, CCBA’s Chief People and Culture Officer, attributed the recognition to the company’s investment in employee development and workplace culture. “We invest in our people to foster an inclusive and thriving workplace that accelerates our growth,” Prodanovic said. “At CCBA, we don’t hand you a role, we create an opportunity, give you the tools and we challenge you to build a career.”
CCBA operates as one of the largest Coca-Cola bottling partners on the African continent, serving multiple markets across the region.
