The appointment adds an experienced executive support professional to Nigerian Breweries’ leadership office as the brewer continues to strengthen its executive operations.
Nigerian Breweries Plc has appointed Marvellous Adejoro as Executive Assistant to its Managing Director and Finance Director, adding an executive support professional with experience spanning the oil and gas and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
The appointment was disclosed by Adejoro after completing six months in the role.
Adejoro joined the brewer after building her career in the oil and gas industry, describing the move into FMCG as a significant shift in pace and operating environment. She said her decision to delay announcing the appointment allowed her to settle into the role before making it public.
According to Adejoro, her onboarding included one-on-one meetings with members of Nigerian Breweries’ executive leadership team.
She highlighted a session with Digital and Technology Director Phil Aneke, who shared a structured 90-day executive plan designed to help new leaders navigate their first months within the business.
She also credited her managers, Thibaut Boidin and Maria Karaseva, for investing in her professional development during her first six months at the company, describing their mentorship as instrumental to her transition into the beverage industry.
Before joining Nigerian Breweries, Adejoro supported C-suite executives in multinational organisations, overseeing executive calendars, international travel, board meetings and cross-functional coordination.
Her professional profile also highlights a growing interest in human resources and workplace culture, supported by a DELF A2 French certification and plans to join the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
The appointment reflects the increasing strategic role of executive support professionals within large consumer goods companies, where effective coordination and executive office management play an important role in organisational execution and decision-making.
