Salum Nassor has been confirmed as Sales Director at Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, completing a move from public affairs into the Tanzanian bottler’s commercial leadership. He announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying he had held the role in an acting capacity since late 2025.
Nassor joined Coca-Cola Kwanza’s senior leadership team in 2021 as Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director, a role spanning government relations, community investment and corporate reputation management. Earlier in his career, he worked across sales, planning and manufacturing at the company. He also represents Coca-Cola Kwanza on the council of the Confederation of Tanzania Industries.
The appointment comes as Coca-Cola Kwanza closes out its strongest year since starting operations in Tanzania, posting record sales and production volumes in 2025 and its highest-ever sales month that December. Nassor was among the executives credited with the performance.

“My focus is simple: to serve our sales force so they can serve our customers even better,” Nassor said. He added that sustainable growth and shared value across the business remain central to his approach, an outlook he credits to his years in public affairs.
That background gives him unusual exposure to the wider ecosystem around Coca-Cola Kwanza. He has worked on economic-inclusion programmes such as Mwanamke Shujaa, which trains women entrepreneurs, and on industry sustainability efforts including PET recycling.
Coca-Cola Kwanza, a Coca-Cola Beverages Africa company, marked 30 years of operations in Tanzania in 2025, tracing its identity to a 1995 acquisition of Tanganyika Bottlers. Coca-Cola products have been sold in the country since 1952.
Nassor’s move mirrors a broader pattern of senior reshuffling across Africa’s beverage sector, as bottlers sharpen commercial leadership to match growth ambitions. His performance will now be measured less by stakeholder engagement and more by distribution, customer service and sales execution.
