Oluwatosin Elizabeth has taken up the role of Sales Manager at AB InBev in Lagos, Nigeria, in October 2026, moving into a management position after more than a decade of experience across the brewer’s sales and distributor-development operations. The appointment places her in a role covering commercial execution, distributor relationships and business growth in one of Nigeria’s major beverage markets. Her career update identifies the move as her latest professional step.
From Distributor Development to Sales Management
Elizabeth has worked across AB InBev’s Nigerian commercial operations since 2016, beginning as a Business Development Representative at International Breweries, the brewer’s Nigerian business. She held that position until March 2018 before moving into distributor development, where her responsibilities included sales volume, credit management, account management and business analysis. Her progression reflects an operational background in the distribution network through which packaged beverages reach retailers and consumers.
Sales Growth Across Lagos
During her distributor-development tenure, Elizabeth recorded annual district sales growth of 85% in 2021, 21% in 2022 and 14% in 2024, compared with the respective previous years. She also led and supervised 15 distributor representatives, working on sales execution, compliance and operational efficiency. Her responsibilities covered Lagos territories including Ikorodu, Ikeja, Agege, Alimosho and Kosofe, where route-to-market execution and distributor performance formed part of her commercial remit.

Distribution and Credit Control
Her previous role also involved implementing the Distributor Management System to improve daily sales tracking, inventory accuracy and credit control. These functions are commercially significant in beverage distribution, where stock availability, timely payments and reliable sales information affect the relationship between manufacturers, distributors and retailers. Her experience combines field sales with the financial and operational disciplines needed to manage a distributor network.
Before joining the business development team, Elizabeth completed sales internships with International Breweries and SABMiller, gaining experience in modern trade operations, customer acquisition and territory management. She holds an MBA in Security Management from Babcock University, completed between 2018 and 2020, and a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Ibadan.
What the Move Puts in Focus
The appointment comes as Nigeria’s beverage companies continue to depend on effective distribution and sales execution to convert brand demand into volume. Elizabeth’s record provides evidence of experience in distributor management and territory growth, although AB InBev has not publicly disclosed specific targets, financial responsibilities or changes to her new role. Her performance as Sales Manager will therefore be measured by the commercial results and operational priorities attached to the position.
